mode.Īny hacks to this? Like on my Asus the brightness locks down when uniformity is on, so one have to adjust brightness with the compensation off, then reactivate. It's only active when I select either Standard or Color Temp. However I'm unable to activate uniformity compensation with either sRGB, AdobeRGB or CAL1/2 modes selected. I'ts my impression when using Dell utility, I have to choose either CAL1 or CAL2 color preset mode. The dispcalGUI Measurement Report creates a good HTML report you can send to a a place like. Maybe just the Dell utility is enough, I do not know you have to test and the Argyll+dispcalGUI tutorial got an update. I do not know if still the case, but sadly the Dell utility does not take enough measurements to create a "100% perfect" profile, so after using the Dell utility you can use Argyll+dispcalGUIto have the ultimate result. Also what are your thought on the results?Ĭongratulations for the new monitor, the calibration result probably is very good, but Argyll+dispcalGUI can not calibrate this monitor internal LUT(14 bits?) you need the Dell utility that will reprogram the internal LUT to meet the desired results with the most linearity as possible and maybe in this new model the uniformity compensation can work with the calibration. Let me know if you guys would like other tests. Maybe the U2713H does a better job than theUP2716D - I believe it does. It seems my Asus PA279Q does a better job in Uniformity. I sit in a bright room, so I personally prefer 120cm/m2. Monitor has been on 3 hours with the i1Display connected (the calibration tool needs to warm up as well).

Here are my result using DispcalGUI + Agryll + i1Display Pro following Pictus guide as always ).
